Welding technology
Modern bonding technologies for electro-conductive metals, like the ultrasonic metal welding technology, have many applications in automotive electronics. These include cable splicing, bonding of flat ribbon cables or the mounting of wires onto contacts etc. The bonding quality is 100 % checked and the necessary energy is low and adjustable and thus totally under control. This is a major advantage for the ongoing miniaturisation of many components.

Resistance welding technology
During resistance spot welding the selected joints of the components to be connected are heated to melting temperature by an electric current, with a simultaneously acting electrode force. Once the welding current has been switched off the weld will solidify to a firmly bonded joint.
The globalization of the markets and the increasing individualization of customer requirements demand the rapid implementation of new technologies and a marked reduction of the period between product development and production start-up. This is a challenge to every in-house engineering team, which can often be solved only by the selective use of external capacities. Thanks to our cooperation with reliable partners who have successfully been acting in the field of resistance welding technology and automization for many years, we are able to grant you direct access to state-of-the-art technical equipment for design and production purposes. Resistance welding allows the joining of materials of the most diverse physical and chemical properties, with different surfaces, forms and thicknesses. This proven method is used extensively in the following industries:
- Automobile industry - Electrical industry - Mechanical engineering
